Read Psalm 34:1-8
Abba Father,
Glory to you! Praise your name in the highest. You are worthy, so worthy. There is no other; you alone are God. Your righteousness, compassion, and grace never fail for us. You send these gifts to us in abundance; like honey and dew, they flow to us each morning. We know your mercies are new each day, so help us this week to come to you—to come and receive them like the earth receives the dew. Father, enable us to receive the sweet and nourishing goodness of your word, like honey—and that your word might be preserved in us, hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against you. This week lead us to the great reservoirs of your dew from heaven. Help us to open wide our mouths that you might drop your sweetness on our tongue. Let us taste and see that you are good.
