These two mods are for those of you who want Skyrim to be more punishingly realistic. Realistic Needs and Diseases makes diseases something to be feared, and adds fatigue, hunger and thirst. You can cook to feed yourself, and even get drunk.
Immersive weapons mod aims to up the variety of lore-friendly weapons found in Skyrim. It adds over 220 new and balanced custom weapons that have been seamlessly integrated into the world. They are spread across realistic, historical categories and look awesome while remaining as lore-friendly as possible.
Enhanced landscapes is a fairly large mod that makes the world of Skyrim more dense and realistic. No longer will you find long stretches of empty land that are there just because Bethesda wanted to make the game less performance heavy. It adds thousands of objects to the game and improves the appearance of distant mountains, cliffs, and other rock formations with great effect.
Not much to say here. These mods add new optional animations and refine vanilla animations to make them more realistic and immersive. Character movements and the actions they perform are smooth and look much better, no matter the mod or perspective of your choice.
The northern regions of Skyrim are filled with vast ice formations. Real Glaciers makes them an unmissable attraction, recolouring them from a frosted window effect to a much more realistic ice finish, complete with crack lines and a glassy reflective surface.
Among the most famous graphical mods for Skyrim are the ENBseries. Real Vision produces some absolutely tremendous photorealistic effects, especially when combined with a number of other mods available from either the Steam Workshop or Skyrim Nexus. Take a look at the video above to see the mod in action. Just remember to draw breath every once in a while.
Now, managers want me to "just document everything", which is hardly realistic given the size of the project. I also have the impression that they do not have a clear picture of what they need now. Only one of the involved persons has a strong software background.
What exists are some requirement specifications which are however incomplete. The code itself is already commented at a reasonable level. It is not deliberately tricky but some stuff needs specialist knowledge and/or a lot of experience. I already documented many technical decisions and considerations by email, writing weekly reports on strategy and technical difficulties. There is also already some good API documentation that I somehow managed to sneak in. What is needed is essentially some technical documentation which allows the next developer, assuming he is competent, to understand the larger picture so that he can relatively quickly continue working on it. I will need to assume that the reader of the documentation is somewhat proficient in C++ and is able to familiarize himself with any extra concepts he might need.
