Today we're going to make a clicker game. The goal of this game is to click on an object and score a certain amount of points. Clicker games are easy to make on Scratch with using basic blocks that are easily accessible from the edit screen. So let's get started playing around with some code!
In a clicker game to collect the object the player must click on to collect the object. There must be no collisions and the object must be picked up a minimum of once to give that player points for collecting that object. Be careful not to spam a clicker and accidentally click the ground or a block! Then have just a single clicker to collect the object, and of course, rotate characters when going upside down. Of course, each object costs different points, but can only be collected once. Can you collect the Magic Key?
In this game, we're going to try to get as many points as we can by engaging in a geometrically-themed-game. The player moves in a grid pattern around the screen avoiding collision and getting into traps along the way. Each dot which represents a character colored by the same color as the point value minus 5. 26 points, 12 points, and 5 points are features of this game. The game loop has two functions: a function onScoring that checks if the score is set to some value with a condition. Then, update. to update the score. The game loop will update the value of the score. The state of the game loop is based on the difference between the last state and the current state. The update function updates the score if the player moves every one hundredth of a second. d2c66b5586
