Note: The Landsat_gapfill.sav file must be on the same drive or network location as the original Landsat ETM image. It cannot be downloaded to a separate drive or network location.

The steps to apply the Gapfill technique is as follows:

Open a single Landsat ETM image in the image table.

Import the.sav file for the Gapfill plugin. Save the image in the ENVI install folder as landsat_gapfill.sav.

Resize the Image Table using Resample tools. To do this, right-click on the image table and choose Resample Tools. In the Resample menu choose the resample type to be cropped. Choose the field type to be cropped. Click the Resample button to obtain the resampled image.
