I know the vinyl has the much harsher sound. When you hear a lot of hip-hop records, you get used to the harsher sound. I think it's due to the record itself having a flat EQ. Just think of the difference between a Hip-Hop record that sounds like it has equal level highs and lows, and a Funk record that has a high range and a lower range. The low end on a Funk record sounds equal to the higher end, just a whole different sound than a Hip-Hop record. So, it's because the vinyl has a flat EQ, and that's why I love it so much. I feel like a professor whenever I DJ. I love the way it sounds. You know, the truth is, I love vinyl. I like digital. I don't like the way digital sounds. I like vinyl. I think it's the only way to DJ. I'm not against digital. I don't even mind turntables. I'm just passionate about vinyl. I think it's the most natural way to DJ.

The real question here is, what do you actually think about the differences between the digital and vinyl versions of the DJM 1210 that you mixed? I know it's kind of a black box in terms of mixing, but this is your business, after all. How do you think they both sound?
