Inflammatory processes and elevated oxidative stress are involved in atherogenesis and plaque rupture. In patients with acute coronary syndrome, oxidized LDL is higher in the acute phase compared with the control group. In stable angina patients, lipoproteins show a greater atherogenic potential. The aim of the study was to analyse the content of oxidized LDL and total antioxidant status (TAS) in patients with stable exertional angina with and without left ventricular dysfunction. The study included 41 patients with exertional angina with (group A, n=21) and without (group B, n=20) left ventricular dysfunction (ejection fraction (EF) 0b46394aab
