On February 7, 2011, 50 Cent announced that he was again recording a new album, indicating that the new project will be released in 2012.
On April 13, 2012, 50 Cent announced that he was planning on releasing a new album in 2013. On December 6, 2012, 50 Cent announced that he was planning on releasing a new album in 2013.[20] On September 25, 2013, 50 Cent announced that he would be releasing his 9th studio album titled The Big Game on November 4, 2013. On August 22, 2014, 50 Cent announced that he was planning on releasing a new album in 2015.[21] On September 15, 2015, it was announced that 50 Cent's The Big Game will be released on November 12, 2015.
50 Cent would later announce that the album would be released on September 24, 2009.[16] On September 17, 2009, 50 Cent announced that The Game would be the official album's executive producer, with production credit on 7 of the album's 11 tracks. He also confirmed that he co-produced three songs on the album with Dr. Dre, his labelmate.[17] On October 8, 2009, 50 Cent confirmed that he had completed another 50 Cent solo album, titled The Massacre, which will be released on March 8, 2010. The album was later pushed back to March 29, 2010.[18] 50 Cent will also release two new albums in 2010: a hip-hop album titled On Fight Volume 1 to be released on March 17, 2010 and a rock album titled Candy Shop to be released on August 25, 2010. On December 15, 2010, 50 Cent confirmed that his new album will be titled Street King Immortal and will be released on March 31, 2011. He later announced that the album would be released on April 8, 2011, and that Eminem will appear on it. Eminem was also supposed to have a new album in late 2010, but it was canceled, with the album's supposed release date pushed back to 2011.[19]
On August 15, 2010, 50 Cent confirmed that he was planning on releasing a new album in 2011, adding that he will record a new song with Eminem, Danny Brown, and Joyner Lucas for his next album.
